On The Road Again...Tromsø to Alta...and back again
Dad's last area on his first mission was in Alta-Hammerfest. Dad told Mom he would bring her to Norway after they were married for 7 years...that was hopefully the plan after schooling, etc. Plans changed...we never made it until this mission...instead of a two week vacation, she got to spend 2 years. Loved being able to show her where I served and the beauty of the country.
all thanks for this trip go to Eldste Baughan and Eldste Parrish who forgot to bring the summer tires for the car that was in Alta and was being to transfered to Harstad...We were the beneficiaries of seeing Finmark a little closer up. Someone had to volunteer to go fetch them and get them to the Elders in Harstad.
Heading a bit farther north than we are, about a 6 hour drive |
