A Grandmother's first love isn't really the cat, or other family pet...it's the grandkids when they come to visit.

Gulls and puffins are among the few birds that thrive in the northern cold climate.


sami life and culture is a major influence in northern Norway


these ships are found in many of the old churches in Norway.  Given to the church by sailors for a blessing while out to sea.
