Arizona in Norway Part IV - Senja & Oslo...

Another Road Trip to Senja & a Flight to Oslo

Also another Zone Conference and flight home to Tromsø...

Fun times...sad to say goodbye but grateful for their experiences

Frozen waterfalls along the road.

Typical Norwegian home.

Though the winter views are much different than those of summer and fall, they are still very majestic

Snow covered roads and high snow banks

Majestic mountains jut up out of the fjords all along the Norwegian coast lines.

One of many tunnels.

Warning... cyclists in the tunnel.

one hopes one doesn't meet oncoming traffic (especially trucks or cyclists).

Blue frozen waterfalls.

Some salmon farming in the fjord.

Guardians of Senya

more waterfalls.

Lookout point.

Cold, windy day...warm smiles.

view from the lookout.

Worlds largest troll covered in snow.
The welcoming troll.
A trip to Senja doesn't feel complete without a stop at Sentrollet (Troll park)....sadly we got one of the last views...one week later the large troll burnt to the ground...cause not certain at this time but no plans to rebuild either...sad

One of the places we enjoyed in Senya has now burned down.  We were lucky to have seen it.

Visiting Einar and his mother in Gryllefjord

An RnB on the way back...only access by boat
One of the snow plows..don't leave room to pass on the narrow roads but grateful they make the road passable in winter (most of the time).
The Palace in Oslo.

Thor's hammer?   no a tribute to working men and women.

Akerhus - the old castle fortress.

Is the cannonball in there?

I got this!

ready...aim...fire!

warm, sunny Oslo

behind the castle

Oslo Opera house.

reflection in the glass windows of the opera house back to the city

A ship sculpture in the fjord seen from Oslo Opera House

Sculpture in the bay.

basket weaver on the street....common for lots of musicians also.

Zone conference luncheon

missionaries share talents at zone conferences...always inspirational to listen

Sør (south) zone conference group

always enjoy time with the Bergquist's...some of our favorites.

leaving Oslo

shots of the North as one can tell with all the snow as it has started to melt down south

back in Tromsø
