Sone Conference - Oslo - Elder Sabin

Autumn in Norway ....

And all at once, summer collapsed into fall...

Winter is an etching, spring a watercolor, summer an oil painting, and autumn a mosaic of them all...

...Anyone who thinks fallen leaves are dead has never watched them dancing on a windy day.

We had a few hours to see more of sites of Oslo - This time we took a walk down  "one of the most beautiful street in Europe" (to each their own judgement)...not quite as advertized in the tourist brochure but nice.

one can rent a gondola and take a romantic cruise up and down the river...not just walk the path that runs alongside it.

unique bridge across the river

Grønland had a few clown statues on the torv

...and a stroll through the Botanical gardens.

a few lilies left blooming on the lily pads.  We were there late in September so we caught the botanical gardens at the tail end of the season but it was still beautiful.

Dad & Elder Bergquist - almost as good looking as the nature around them

Beautiful fall colors.  Wish we would have been here just a couple of weeks earlier

Thistle plant with daisy flowers ?

interesting to see this red vine crawling and twisting itself up and around the tree trunk

you wouldn't think Norway could grow cactus

berries on this tree were very unique

The bees were still taking advantage of pollinating the flowers

One section of the botanical gardens was devoted to Vikings!

Even had a replica of a viking burial mound in the gardens.
