Adventures in June & other stories

Fill your life with adventures not things...have stories to tell not things to show.

We celebrated birthdays...ours & friends...enjoyed walks together alone and with friends...laughed and played

We were able to visit small towns and the big city...Oslo for a Couples conference and combined Zone Conference.

Konosmo - We travel to this little town to take Sacrament meeting to the 3 families that live here.  We travel on the third Sunday of the Month and usually have 15 members attending.  It's a more beautiful drive in Spring and Summer than Winter

town church - we just love all the old churches in the small towns and villages throughout Norway

Elders Hansen and Holyoak joined us in June for sacrament meeting at the Froholdt-Hansen home in Konsmo

We celebrated Ole Jørgen's birthday as he was investigating the Gospel at the YSA center

Sisters Doxey & Palmer & Ole Jørgen

Even also joined in our Birthday dinner with Missionaries and Ole Jørgen

Meressi and Michele

This is our famous Kitchen from which we prepared all the YSA meals - it really is this small - The Lord and Sister Cook worked many miracles with this small and simple kitchen

our only source of water at the YSA center,  - it served as a sink to wash dishes and also as the bathroom

Kristiansand has many little inlets on the coast that come alive in summer

with the warmer weather morning walks became more enjoyable an beautiful

Happy birthday

Sue Ann & Michele enjoying the walk up Baneheia overlooking the city

Ravnedalen is a beautiful view at the upper end of Baneheia - makes hiking the trails very worthwhile

Enjoying time with the missionaries - Elders Hansen & Holyoak; Sisters Palmer & Doxey

Sand sculptures appear almost overnight down on the city wharf, many are amazingly intricate
