Holmenkollen

One of Dad's fondest memories of his time in Oslo was during the winter of 1971 when he had the opportunity to attend a World ski jump championship held at Holmenkollen.   So I had to take Mom to see it.  It has been remodeled and there was no competition occuring so it looked different.  They have a large oval stadium at the bottom that used to be a grass field.

Camera settings got set to B/W for some reason but it's still pretty amazing.  Closer to what it was like when here the first time as I don't think color had been invented yet.

New oval track is where the biathlon events now take place

Other Senior couples who came with us.  We had a wonderful lunch at the Lodge.
