Most people don't decorate their homes like in America - maybe a candle or star in the windows.  The city of Kristiansand supplies the decorations for 4 homes in the area and they light them up like Christmas vacation. Markens Gate (Gå Gate - Walking Street in downtown Kristiansand tree on the main torv vendor selling candied almonds Nativity in shop window Kristiansand has a light show every  night on the side of the buildings just down from the Domkirke and Torv by the corner of Markens Gate - It is about a 5 minute 3D light show and fun to watch.  (We have a video but it is too big to post sorry) . Thanksgiving meal - We celebrated on Saturday since Norwegians don't celebrate it and we had missionaries transferring that week, by waiting we could include them all. - Seif, Elders Arnesen, Spencer, Martineau, Brooks, Sisters Stocks, Peterson, Cook FHE night watching YSA Face2Face with Elders Oaks & Ballard decorating the YSA center Service project, making and decorating holiday cookies for inactive members in Kristiansand a few forgot to dilute the food color paste before decorating the cookie, and then had to try eating them.  (Even & Elder Martineau Almost ready to deliver helping Seif move from his apartment into student housing by the University - narrow stairs and a long sofa don't mix well but these Sisters figured it out nativity at the YSA center Christmas Tree at the YSA center

  After a day in Røros we hopped the train again to visit the city of Trondheim  Trondheim  ( Norwegian pronunciation:  [tronhæim] ), historically also known through the years as   Kaupangen ,  Nidaros  and  Trondhjem , is a city and  municipality  in  Sør-Trøndelag  county,  Norway . It has a population of about 190,000 and is the third most populous municipality in Norway, although the  fourth largest   urban area .  The settlement was founded in 997 as a trading post, and it served as the capital of Norway during the  Viking Age  until 1217.
