Cooks In Norway

Most P-days the younger missionaries love to get out and hike.   We try and keep up and hike with them... Kvaløya   is  Norway's  fifth largest island.  The whole island is located in  Tromsø  municipality.  The largest population centers are: Kvaløysletta ,  Storelva ,  Kaldfjord , Brennholmen  and  Ersfjordbotn , but there are scattered settlements along the coast over almost the entire island.  There is also a population of about 600 Reindeer on the island. Tromsø Golfbane The Tromsø golf course lies about 45 km to the west of Tromsøya.   It has a beautiful view of Lyngen alps.  18 holes.   It is the world's northern most golf course.  There is a nice driving range there also.   One may want to play with a colored ball as the white ones could get lost if the snow comes down the mountainside any lower. For P-day Elder Aland wanted to visit this course since he and his father are avid golfers.  So off we went...cold rainy day but lots of fun because of the company we were with.... ....also a side detour to see Tromsø zoo...who knew.
